Vote to give back with Holiday Cheer for Charity 2024

The Detroit News is bringing back its eighth annual Holiday Cheer for Charity competition to give $20,000 to a local nonprofit of readers’ choice.
Readers can cast their votes for any of 11 participating charities at this link during the competition’s first round starting at noon on Friday.
Common Ground: This crisis support service operates Michigan’s Suicide and Crisis Access Lifeline and offers 24/7 support online, via phone, text and chat services and in person. Common Ground also assists communities after mass violence events and offers behavioral health urgent care.
